Role Summary

Senior technical product engineer responsible for driving product strategy and technical execution for place-and-route and related EDA flows. The role bridges customer engagement, product definition, prototyping, and release readiness across cross-functional teams.

Experience Level

Senior-level role; requires demonstrated senior product/technical engineering experience in EDA or semiconductor design environments.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities focus on customer engagement, product definition, prototyping, and enablement.

• Engage directly with customers to discover high-value problems and drive solutions for power, performance, area (PPA) and multi-physics closure.
• Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform roadmap priorities for advanced nodes and GenAI-related flows.
• Define and prioritize product roadmaps by creating MRDs and collaborating on PRDs with product engineers.
• Develop code prototypes and executable specifications to demonstrate features and requirements to engineering teams.
• Manage release readiness criteria for Alpha, Beta, Limited Customer Availability (LCA), and General Availability (GA).
• Enable field and partner teams via training, benchmarks, and go-to-market materials to drive adoption and customer success.
• Represent the product as a subject matter expert at customer meetings and industry forums.

• Must-have: Deep technical expertise in EDA tools and methodologies, especially synthesis, RTL architecture, place-and-route, and ECO flows.

• Must-have: Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, marketing, partners) and engaging with customers.
• Must-have: Ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscape to shape product strategy.
• Must-have: Effective presentation and communication skills for technical audiences and industry events.
• Nice-to-have: Formal product management experience including MRD/PRD development and release management.
