Role Summary

The Senior Technical Lead will oversee post-silicon validation and RTOS SDK development for next-generation automotive Real-Time MCUs. Responsible for leading a software team to validate silicon and develop SDKs for applications in electric vehicles and safety-critical systems.

Experience Level

Senior, with 10+ years of experience in embedded software development and at least 2+ years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a cross-functional embedded software team of 10+ members.
  • Defining plans, schedules, and metrics for SDKs and validation.
  • Driving the architecture and delivery of the RTOS SDK.
  • Executing software-centric AVV strategies.
  • Validating key subsystems and executing first-silicon bring-up.
  • Building automation infrastructure to support lab validation.
  • Collaborating with hardware and safety teams, and engaging with customers.

Requirements

Must-have skills include:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Embedded Systems or related fields.
  • 10+ years in embedded software development and/or post-silicon validation.
  • Expertise in RTOS, device drivers, and real-time systems.
  • Experience with debugging tools and validation of complex SoC/MCU peripherals.
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols, automation scripting, and CI/CD tools.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with ASIL-D compliant software and delivering SDKs for automotive applications.
  • Familiarity with bootloaders and secure embedded software practices.
  • Knowledge of RISC-V ISA.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
