Role Summary

As a Senior Staff Logic Design Engineer at Altera, you will develop and optimize mixed-signal and high-speed IPs for integration into full-chip designs. The role requires collaboration throughout the IP development flow to ensure high-quality design and performance.

Experience Level

Senior; minimum of 10 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Participate in design development tasks throughout the IP development flow.
• Develop logic design, RTL coding, and simulation for IPs.
• Create design examples and conduct hardware verification and debugging.
• Utilize various strategies and tools to optimize designs meeting the IP release requirements.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in System Verilog, VCS/Synopsys simulators, Lint, and Synthesis.
• Experience in programming with C/C++/Perl/Python/TCL/Unix Shell script.
• Familiarity with FPGA design and programming is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
