Role Summary
This position involves serving as a primary technical interface for customers, focusing on the utilization of PrimeLib for library characterization and modeling. The role requires a strong background in semiconductor design and the ability to provide expert guidance across various EDA flows.
Experience Level
8+ years of experience in semiconductor design, library characterization, or EDA application engineering.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical interface for strategic customers leveraging PrimeLib.
- Provide expert guidance on integrating PrimeLib into various EDA flows.
- Lead product demonstrations and proof-of-concept projects.
- Assist customers with optimization techniques for cutting-edge technology nodes.
- Troubleshoot complex technical challenges related to library modeling.
- Collaborate with R&D to influence PrimeLib roadmaps based on customer needs.
- Develop technical training and documentation for customers and teams.
- Represent Synopsys at industry conferences and technical forums.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Strong background in timing, power, variation, and signal integrity analysis.
- Hands-on experience with characterization tools like PrimeLib, Liberate, or SiliconSmart.
- Proficient scripting skills in Python, Perl, TCL for automation.
- Familiar with advanced semiconductor technologies and variation modeling.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to present to varied audiences.
Education Requirements
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.
