Senior Staff Engineer, R&D Engineering (Fusion Compiler GPU Acceleration)
Lead design and implementation of GPU-accelerated capabilities for Synopsys' Fusion Compiler digital implementation flow. The role focuses on enabling GPU acceleration across the R2G (register-to-gate) engines — including placement, global/detail routing, CTS, optimization, timing, extraction, legalizer and synthesis — and delivering end-to-end production-quality features.
The engineer will own projects from requirements and design through development, testing, and customer engagement, collaborate with product and cross-functional teams, and mentor other engineers to raise the team's technical capability.
Senior — typically 6–8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, preferably in EDA or semiconductor domains.
Primary responsibilities include technical leadership, architecture, development, and delivery of GPU-accelerated EDA solutions.
