Senior/Staff Engineer — Product Engineering, Media Health Manufacturing (HIG-HBM)
Role Summary
Lead a High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) Product Engineering Media Health team focused on intrinsic and extrinsic reliability test development and execution for DRAM, interface die, and stacked products. Drive DPM reduction, intrinsic reliability charter, and optimized manufacturing test flows to meet quality, cost, and cycle-time KPIs.
Work cross-functionally with Fab, Technology Development, Quality, and Design teams to identify reliability gaps, root-cause failures, and implement process improvements supporting product qualification and high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities
Accountable for reliability strategy, execution, and team leadership to improve product quality and manufacturability.
- Define and develop reliability stress tests, test flows, and test plans covering product reliability aspects.
- Coordinate qualification plans and manage execution with Global Quality; resolve qualification gating issues.
- Drive reduction of extrinsic (Time 0 and field) and intrinsic reliability DPM via optimized test strategy and manufacturing test flows.
- Lead root-cause analysis for qualification and RMA failures using electrical and physical failure analysis and drive corrective actions.
- Recommend and support frontend process conversions to reduce cost and improve yield, quality, and reliability.
- Manage risk related to DPM and process conversions; make technical decisions on risk analysis and project prioritization.
- Mentor and develop team members and promote project management and continuous improvement, including AI-enabled enhancements.
- Collaborate across HBM Technology Development, Design, Fab, System Development, and Quality/Reliability teams.
Requirements
Must-have technical leadership, analytic, and collaboration skills appropriate for a senior engineering role in product reliability and manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and technical problem-solving skills with in-depth circuit analysis for root-cause identification.
- Proficiency with statistics, data analysis tools, and scripting for data-driven decision making.
- Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex engineering and business problems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; strong sense of responsibility and professional work ethic.
- Passion for people leadership, mentoring, and ongoing development of others.
- Ability to travel internationally (US, Taiwan, Japan) and work on site in Singapore.
- Experience driving manufacturing test flow optimization and reliability improvement in high-volume semiconductor production.
- Product engineering experience preferred (listed as nice-to-have).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related technical field. Product engineering experience is preferred.
