Job Title

Senior Staff Engineer, Analog Mixed Signal Design

Role Summary

Senior mixed-signal IC design engineer responsible for architecture, circuit design, simulation, verification, layout planning oversight, and silicon bring-up for Automotive Ethernet products. Works within R&D and cross-functional product teams to deliver production-ready analog/mixed-signal IP and ASICs.

Experience Level

Senior-level. Typical experience guidance provided by the employer: PhD with ~3–5 years relevant experience, or MS (Electrical Engineering) with ~5–7 years experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include design, verification, and delivery of analog/mixed-signal ICs for automotive applications.

  • Design and verify high-performance analog and mixed-signal ICs for Automotive Ethernet products.
  • Research and develop circuit solutions: architecture, design, simulation, modeling, layout planning and supervision.
  • Perform lab characterization, silicon bring-up and debug.
  • Conduct design reviews and produce required documentation and design deliverables.
  • Coordinate with verification, production test, reliability and quality teams to support product development and qualification.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience (education items summarized separately below).

  • Strong fundamentals in analog and linear circuit design and high-speed circuit techniques.
  • Experience designing data converters (ADC/DAC), amplifiers, filters, references, regulators, PLLs/clocking circuits, and high-linearity transmit drivers with demonstrated working silicon.
  • Proven ability in circuit simulation, modeling, and layout planning oversight.
  • Lab characterization and silicon debug experience.
  • Clear communication and presentation skills; ability to work across functions.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with bidirectional analog front ends and signal-processing concepts.
  • Preferred: design experience in FinFET technology nodes.
