Role Summary
The Senior Staff Engineer will contribute to the development of High-Speed Connectivity, Broadband Analog, and Computing/Storage-Memory Data-Transport products. This role involves laying out high-performance analog circuits, performing top-level integrations, and ensuring successful volume production.
Experience Level
Senior level with at least 15 years of related professional experience.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include:
- Owning a chip/macro layout.
- Managing the overall project schedule.
- Collaborating with various teams including layout, design, backend, frontend, ESD, packaging, CAD.
- Implementing project specific guidelines.
- Contributing to team development through tool testing and training.
- Staying updated with technology developments.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Deep understanding of layout methodology and parasitic optimization.
- Experience in advanced process technology and Fin-FET is preferable.
- Proficiency in CALIBRE DRC, ERC, LVS report interpretation.
- Knowledge of Synopsys or CADENCE layout entry tools.
- Programming skills in Skill, Ample, or Perl are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English and teamwork capability.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
