Role Summary
The Senior Staff Emulation Applications Engineer at Synopsys will work with a team focused on hardware-assisted verification products. This role drives all aspects of the technology life cycle, from development to customer deployment, enhancing Synopsys' emulation and prototyping solutions.
Experience Level
Senior, with a minimum of 7 years of related experience.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Collaborating with R&D architects and customers on hardware-assisted verification products.
- Driving the technology life cycle from development to product sign-off and customer deployment.
- Defining test strategies to improve usability, quality of results, and interoperability.
- Becoming an expert in emulation and prototyping methodologies.
- Interacting with multiple teams to demonstrate the emulation/verification environment.
- Adopting best practices in the Product Release Cycle.
- Supporting key ZeBu products in early-stage development.
Requirements
Must-have requirements include:
- BSEE/MS with 7+ years of related experience.
- Expertise in emulation and/or prototyping flows and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Verilog, System Verilog, and VHDL.
- Understanding of verification concepts and experience with functional simulators.
- Experience with scripting languages.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with Synopsys tools such as ZeBu, HAPS, VCS, and others is preferred.
Education Requirements
BSEE or MS degree required.
