Role Summary

The role of Senior Software Engineer focuses on embedded software development for innovative RF/system-on-chip platform technologies, primarily within the Aerospace, Defense, and Communication sector. The engineer will work on delivering production quality software solutions in collaboration with a diverse team to support various applications including high-speed communications and RADAR systems.

Experience Level

This position requires a Senior level of experience, with a minimum of 10 years in embedded software development.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Architect, design, develop, and validate embedded system software and firmware for high-speed converter products.
  • Implement continuous integration and automated test scripts.
  • Work with bare-metal and real-time operating systems on embedded processors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver quality software solutions.
  • Specify tools and processes for effective software development.
  • Document technical processes and maintain coding standards.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Engage with stakeholders to define and document customer requirements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of embedded software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming and debugging skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins and automated testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with high-speed converters and communication protocols, including LTE and 5G.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse teams and customers.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor of Engineering degree or higher in electrical, electronics or a related field is required.
