Role Summary

The Senior Software Development Engineer will be part of the Calibre DRC R&D team, focusing on designing, developing, and optimizing the Calibre DRC platform for semiconductor companies. This role is crucial in ensuring the manufacturability and quality of coordinated circuits.

Senior, with 3+ years of software engineering experience in EDA tools.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software for Calibre DRC using C++ in a Linux environment.
  • Analyze and optimize existing code for performance and scalability.
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions for runtime and resource utilization improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineers to resolve customer-reported issues.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications include:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Excellent programming skills in C, C++, shell scripting, python, and/or TCL/TK on UNIX/LINUX platforms.
  • 3+ years of experience in EDA tools, with prior DRC experience.
  • Understanding of IC physical design and verification tools.
  • Experience with multi-threading and parallel computing is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Team integration skills and self-motivation.

Education Requirements

Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
