Job Overview:

Arm is currently seeking a skilled Senior SoC Verification Engineer to join our Solution Engineering team in Toronto. The role involves collaborating with a diverse group of engineers and working with global RTL design and verification teams across multiple countries. You will play a crucial role in building advanced SoCs utilizing Arm’s IP compute subsystem technologies for mobile, infrastructure, and automotive markets.

Role Summary:

The Senior SoC Verification Engineer will contribute to the design verification process of sophisticated compute subsystems, leveraging expertise in SoC integration, performance evaluation, and functional verification . This position requires hands-on involvement with cutting-edge technologies to ensure the development of high-performance SoCs.

Experience Level:

This position is categorized as 'Level - Senior', requiring significant experience in the field, with a minimum of 18 years in design or verification of complex subsystems or SoCs.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to SoC design verification with expertise in integration, use-case analysis, and low-power verification.
  • Review design specifications and define a robust functional verification strategy.
  • Develop and implement UVM/SystemVerilog/Verilog testbenches and tests.
  • Debug complex functional verification issues and enhance methodologies within the team.
  • Provide technical guidance and support, and coordinate project activities with management.
  • Drive sign-off for key project landmarks, ensuring quality and timeline alignment.

Requirements:

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering, along with 18+ years of relevant experience. Strong skills in digital hardware design, knowledge of modern verification methodologies, and proficiency in programming languages are essential. Experience with SoC verification, UVM, and industry-standard tools is highly valued.
