The role of Senior SoC Methodology Architect involves working closely with chip architects, EDA tool developers, and design teams to innovate and refine floorplan development in the early stages of chip design. Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Defining and optimizing top-level floorplans, including die size estimation and route planning.
• Driving internal tools and methodologies for chip automation.
• Facilitating rapid analysis and execution of new chips on advanced process technologies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Evaluating floorplans for potential issues and exploring automated solutions.
• Providing guidance and technical support during development and integration.

Requirements

The following qualifications are required:

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hardware engineering background focused on chip floorplan, placement, routing, and design analysis.
• Experience with EDA tools and physical design methodologies.
• Proficiency in Verilog, Python, Perl, and C/C++ programming languages.
• Strong problem-solving and analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Education Requirements

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
