Role Overview

The Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group (AECG) at AMD is looking for a Senior Silicon Design Verification Engineer. This role is pivotal for guiding verification processes related to high-speed Crypto, Network-on-Chip (NoC), and advanced DRAM Memory Controller IPs like LPDDR6 and HBM4. Your focus will be on architecting and utilizing verification environments to ensure successful silicon outcomes.

Experience Level

This position targets skilled professionals with substantial experience in silicon design verification, particularly those familiar with both block and SoC-level verification methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead verification efforts for cutting-edge Crypto, NoC, and DRAM Memory controller designs.
  • Architect and develop simulation and/or formal-based verification environments.
  • Oversee and manage verification teams, ensuring timely and effective execution of projects.
  • Craft thorough verification plans, including developing testbenches and test cases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on verification strategy implementation.
  • Utilize advanced verification techniques including UVM and assertion-based verification.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate should demonstrate exemplary communication and leadership capabilities, with a strong ability to drive verification strategies and influence design quality positively.

Education Requirements

Applicants should possess a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
