Senior Silicon Design Engineer

Role Summary

The Senior Silicon Design Engineer will contribute significantly to the team by driving the design and verification processes for AMD's advanced technologies. This position requires a self-motivated individual who is eager to enhance AMD's capability in delivering high-quality products.

Experience Level

This position is categorized as Level - Senior, aimed at candidates with substantial experience in silicon design and verification engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain tests for functional verification and performance verification at the core level.
• Construct testbench components to support next-generation Intellectual Property (IP).
• Enhance current test libraries for IP-level testing.
• Build hardware emulation systems to verify IP functional performance.
• Improve the existing hardware emulation environment to enhance runtime performance and debugging capabilities.
• Provide technical support to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Applicants should possess strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of complex processor architectures, and excellent communication abilities for collaboration across various teams. Familiarity with C/C++, SystemVerilog, and UVM is required. Additional knowledge of computing/graphics and programming experience with OpenGL/OpenCL/D3D is advantageous.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
