Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Silicon Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Owning and evolving automated test infrastructure for validation across FPGA and ASIC platforms.
- Enhancing FPGA synthesis tools by implementing proper resources and timing constraints.
- Building automation frameworks using software methodologies such as Python and web services.
- Inventing automated tools for validating test sequences across various hardware platforms.
- Implementing innovative data analytics tools to enhance debugging efficiency with AI/ML algorithms.
- Improving silicon manufacturing success through validation methodologies and systematic checks.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience in software development for engineering or infrastructure tools.
- Proficiency in Python, Shell, and TCL scripting in a Linux environment.
- Familiarity with automation and regression testing.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is advantageous.
- Knowledge of VHDL/Verilog and FPGA design development is a plus.
- Understanding of functional simulation environments and verification methodologies is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and collaborative skills are essential.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field is required.
