Provide system-level technical leadership for high-speed SerDes platforms and related PHY solutions, guiding architecture-to-execution alignment, signoff readiness, and cross-team technical decisions. Join a multidisciplinary system architecture team working on SerDes up to 64Gbps (NRZ and PAM4).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include system architecture leadership, connecting architecture intent to execution, and improving signoff practices.

• Provide system-level technical leadership for assigned platforms and high-speed communication solutions.
• Translate architecture goals into execution plans and signoff criteria; drive signoff readiness.
• Lead discussions on tradeoffs, assumptions, constraints, and risks across teams.
• Contribute system- and signoff-informed input to architecture reviews and platform decisions.
• Improve technical ownership, execution predictability, and cross-functional alignment throughout product development.

• Must have: Strong experience in SerDes, PHY development, or closely related high-speed communication domains.
• Must have: Strong system-level technical understanding with ability to connect detailed engineering work to broader platform behavior.

• Must have: Ability to assess tradeoffs, identify risks, and guide technical decisions clearly.
• Must have: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills; ability to influence across teams.
• Nice to have: Programming or analysis experience in MATLAB, Python, or similar tools.
• Nice to have: Experience in PHY analog design or strong technical exposure to analog-driven PHY development.

Education Requirements

M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field is specified. (No mention of acceptable equivalent practical experience or other certifications.)
