Role Summary

The Senior RTL Design Lead at Synopsys will manage the lifecycle of complex ASIC digital subsystems from requirements to silicon. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to build high-performance digital IP subsystems, ensuring technical excellence and quality.

Responsibilities

The Senior RTL Design Lead will be responsible for:

• Leading the lifecycle of subsystems from requirements gathering to final release.
• Crafting subsystem architectures and developing functional specifications.
• Defining micro-architectures and ensuring compliance with RTL best practices.
• Ensuring bug-free first silicon delivery through quality checks.
• Collaborating with verification, DFT, and physical implementation teams.
• Integrating standard protocols like PCIe, DDR, UFS, USB, and AMBA.
• Applying low power design methodologies and fulfilling DFT requirements.
• Mentoring junior engineers and participating in technical reviews.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 8+ years in RTL design and complex ASIC/SoC projects.
• Proficiency in PCIe, DDR, UFS, USB, and AMBA protocols.
• Expertise in low power design methodologies and DFT architecture.
• Strong RTL coding skills (Verilog/SystemVerilog), linting, and verification tools.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional team collaboration.
• Solid understanding of ASIC design flow including synthesis and timing analysis.
