Role Summary

The Senior RTL Design Engineer will join a dynamic team focused on driving innovation in digital design and verification. This role requires a proactive and self-motivated individual to enhance AMD's product offerings in complex processor architecture and IP development.

Experience Level

This position is suitable for professionals with significant expertise in RTL design and verification, ideally with a background in modern, complex architectures and experience working collaboratively with teams across different locations and timezones.

Responsibilities

• Design and verify RTL components ensuring adherence to high-quality standards.
• Implement RTL QA flows, including Lint, CDC/RDC, and LEC.
• Support development and maintenance of next-generation intellectual property (IP).
• Enhance existing hardware environments to optimize performance and debugging capabilities.
• Provide technical support to cross-functional teams as needed.

Requirements

• Proficient in SystemVerilog and familiar with verification methodologies such as UVM.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Tcl.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ are advantageous.
• Vast experience with computing or graphics concepts is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AMS designs is a plus.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
