Role Summary
As a Senior QA Engineer on the Altium development team, you will design and execute manual and automated tests, refine requirements, perform regression testing, and help maintain test environments to ensure product quality.
Work will focus on Altium's software products (web and client/server) used for electronics design and manufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include manual and automated testing, test planning, environment maintenance, and defect management:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test suites and test plans.
- Design test cases to uncover product defects and execute manual and automated tests.
- Configure and maintain test environments.
- Report defects accurately and track their resolution.
- Assess and communicate product quality risks.
- Participate in planning, review, and retrospective activities.
- Investigate and reproduce issues reported by customers or captured in issue tracking.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- 3+ years of software testing experience (API and user flows).
- Strong understanding of web and client/server application architecture.
- Advanced knowledge of testing approaches, techniques, and software lifecycle processes.
- Experience working with automated testing ecosystems and test management tools.
- Familiarity with developer console tools; experience with Git and Jenkins.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Fiddler) and writing SQL/DB queries.
- Ability to document, troubleshoot, and communicate issues clearly.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with TestRail (preferred).
