Senior Product Test Engineer

Role Summary

The ASIC BU PTE Team, part of the Digital Business Unit, is seeking a Product & Test Engineer responsible for testing complex mixed signal and digital SoC devices. You will be an integral member of the development team, focusing on high-performance hardware and software test solutions for the ASIC BU product portfolio.

Experience Level

Experienced; typically 4-5 years of relevant hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design innovative, reliable and efficient Probe and Test solutions for high-performance mixed-signal/Digital ATE platforms.
  • Develop ATE software solutions as per specifications.
  • Involve in DFT/BIST definition & development with the Design Team to enhance testability.
  • Execute test development phases including Silicon functionality, Characterization, Yield Analysis, and Offshore Production release.

Requirements

Key qualifications include:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience in mixed signal or digital testing.
  • Knowledge of ATE software development and experience with Teradyne Flex and/or 93K ATE systems.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills along with knowledge of Perl/C++ programming.
  • Experience in ATE high-speed digital hardware design and layout.
  • Proficient with bench equipment such as Oscilloscope and Signal Generators.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently.

Education Requirements

Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is required.
