Role Summary

The Senior Product Specialist is the technical lead for die bonding equipment, translating product capabilities into customer solutions and ensuring successful deployment across manufacturing environments.

This hands-on role combines application support, customer demonstrations, troubleshooting, training, and feedback to R&D to improve product performance and usability.

Experience Level

Senior level. The posting specifies a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor equipment, precision automation, or related manufacturing technology.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include pre-sales and post-sales technical support, customer-facing application activities, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Act as the technical expert for the die bonding machine portfolio for pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
• Conduct product demonstrations, application trials, and process optimization with customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues remotely and on-site.
• Collaborate with R&D to provide market-driven feedback on features, performance, and usability.
• Develop and deliver technical training for customers, distributors, and internal teams.
• Prepare technical documentation, application notes, and comparative analyses.
• Represent the product at industry exhibitions, seminars, and customer visits.
• Work with sales, engineering, and service teams to identify customer needs and implement technical solutions.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills, experience, and working behaviours.

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in semiconductor equipment, precision automation, or related manufacturing technology.
• Strong understanding of die bonding processes, materials, and equipment operation.
• Hands-on experience with motion control systems, vision alignment, and process optimization.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for customer support, training, and technical activities.
• Ability to liaise effectively with business clients in Hong Kong and China.

Nice-to-have:

• Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an advantage.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field as stated in the posting.
