Senior Product Manager - Hardware Infrastructure
Role Summary
The Senior Product Manager will define and drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for internal hardware infrastructure and tools used across ASIC hardware development. The role partners with engineering teams to improve developer workflows, system performance, scalability, and reliability for large-scale chip and software programs.
Reporting to the SOC Hardware Infrastructure organization, you will lead cross-functional alignment, measure impact with data, and drive long-term investments to accelerate engineering velocity for pre-silicon and tapeout workflows.
Experience Level
Senior — typically requires 10+ years of product management experience, including ownership of hardware platforms, infrastructure, or internal tools.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include owning product direction, coordinating across distributed engineering teams, and improving productivity and reliability of infrastructure used in chip development.
- Define and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap for hardware infrastructure to meet performance, reliability, and scalability goals.
- Partner with internal engineering teams to integrate infrastructure tools into daily development workflows and optimize productivity.
- Own infrastructure architecture evolution and adopt AI solutions to accelerate chip design and engineering velocity.
- Lead cross-functional alignment and deliver roadmaps against aggressive timelines.
- Establish metrics and processes to measure impact on business outcomes, identify bottlenecks, and prioritize work.
- Drive investments in scalability and reliability to support growing codebases, larger teams, and next-generation programs.
- Champion code integrity, review standards, and versioning strategies to reduce integration risk ahead of tapeout.
Requirements

- 10+ years of product management experience owning infrastructure, platforms, or internal developer tools.
- Proven track record defining product strategy, prioritizing roadmaps, and delivering measurable improvements in developer productivity or system performance.
- Experience partnering with highly technical engineering teams and driving products from concept through delivery.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure deployments and addressing performance, collaboration, and developer productivity challenges.
- Solid understanding of source control systems and code collaboration workflows, including branching strategies, code reviews, and large-scale merges.
- Analytical mindset: define success measures, track adoption, and identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills; ability to influence across geo-distributed teams.
- Proven ability to drive adoption of internal platforms and influence engineering culture around developer productivity and code health.

Nice-to-have: experience with pre-silicon development workflows, AI/ML/LLM infrastructure, Perforce at enterprise scale, or complex infrastructure architecture decision-making.
Education Requirements
B.S. (or equivalent practical experience) in Computer Science or a related technical field is stated; equivalent experience is explicitly accepted. No specific certifications are required.
