Role Summary

This role involves becoming an integral part of the Siemens EDA team, focusing on the Calibre DRC product. The successful candidate will contribute to innovative solutions in semiconductor technology and play a key role in advancing physical verification tools in the semiconductor industry.

Experience Level

Senior, with 6+ years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

• Act as a technical expert for Siemens EDA’s Calibre DRC.
• Define and characterize new product capabilities to meet customer requirements.
• Work through complex technical issues and independently create solutions.
• Collaborate with Calibre R&D to prototype, evaluate, and test new products.
• Drive optimization for tool performance across hardware, configuration, and features.
• Engage with customers and internal stakeholders, including application and support engineers.
• Create technical presentations, training material, and documentation.
• Present complex principles in understandable terms to diverse audiences.
• Participate in domestic and international travel as needed.

Requirements

Required qualifications include:

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• High energy, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Proficiency in LINUX and Windows environments.
• Experience in scripting languages like TCL or Python.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Education Requirements

BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
