Senior Product Engineer - Calibre DRC

Role Summary

As a Senior Product Engineer for Calibre DRC, you will engage directly with semiconductor foundries, enhancing DRC product lines through function development and project enablement. Your efforts will facilitate groundbreaking contributions to the IC design and manufacturing sectors.

Experience Level

This role requires a seasoned individual with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, preferably within the EDA industry. Advanced knowledge of product development processes and support is essential, alongside a strong foundation in semiconductor technologies.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing technology enablement plans for semiconductor foundries, effectively managing feedback and requests for product enhancements.
• Acting as a technical expert for Calibre DRC and creating comprehensive requirement documents to guide solution plans.
• Validating solutions and ensuring successful deployment in foundry settings.
• Facilitating clear and efficient communication among all stakeholders involved.

Requirements

Candidates must possess:

• A BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field (MS preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Calibre DRC rule deck writing and technical support.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Tcl, Perl, Python, and shell scripting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, alongside proven teamwork abilities.
• Experience in leading new product feature development from concept to production is advantageous.

Education Requirements

BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related fields; MS degree is preferred.
