Senior Product Engineer-Calibre

Role Summary

The role involves joining the Siemens EDA team specifically for the Calibre DRC product line. You will be integral in advancing EDA tools that are essential to the semiconductor industry, focusing on product development, technical challenges, and collaborative problem solving.

Experience Level

The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of experience in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) or integrated circuit design, demonstrating a solid understanding of the technical aspects involved in product development from conception to release.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for Calibre DRC, providing insights and solutions to complex technical issues.
• Define and characterize new product capabilities based on customer needs.
• Collaborate with R&D to prototype and test new features, ensuring optimal tool performance.
• Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and drive tool enhancements.
• Create and present technical documentation, training materials, and white papers.
• Travel occasionally for domestic and international engagements as necessary.

Requirements

The successful candidate will need a BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with proven experience in EDA or IC design roles.
