Senior Principal Verification Engineer
Role Summary
The Senior Principal Verification Engineer will report to the Director of Verification and be responsible for defining and executing verification plans for DDR memory interface products. This role involves significant visibility in product development within a flexible hybrid work environment.
Experience Level
Senior level, requiring 10+ years of experience with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or 7+ years with a PhD in Electrical Engineering.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include:
- Create digital verification plans based on datasheets and input from engineers/customers.
- Implement digital test-benches in SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Develop UVM reference models for DUT behavior verification.
- Debug issues and track bugs, functional coverage, and RTL code coverage.
- Contribute to flow and methodology in a dynamic interdisciplinary R&D group.
- Mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
The following qualifications are required:
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience.
- Significant experience with System Verilog or Verilog and UVM methodology.
- Experience with Analog/Mixed-signal products (e.g., DDR, HSS, PCIE).
- Strong knowledge of ASIC Verification flow and software tools.
- Proficiency in scripting and working within a Linux/Unix environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience leading technical solutions and working in cross-functional teams.
Education Requirements
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
