Role Summary
The Senior Principal SoC Design Engineer will lead the architecture and design of advanced System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions for embedded applications. This role requires collaboration and technical expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Senior level with over 20 years of experience in SoC design and architecture.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include:
- Defining and driving SoC architecture, including CPU subsystems, interconnects, and memory hierarchy.
- Performing hands-on design work including RTL coding, debugging, and design reviews.
- Leading RTL design, verification, and synthesis for complex SoCs.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for hardware/software integration.
- Mentoring technical teams and guiding design best practices.
- Ensuring PPA optimization and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience: 20+ years in SoC design and architecture with successful tape-outs of multiple SoCs.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in ARM-based microcontrollers and SoC integration.
- Proficiency in RTL (Verilog/SystemVerilog), synthesis, timing closure.
- Experience with various interfaces including SPI, I²C, UART, USB, PCIe, Ethernet, CAN, and eSPI.
- Knowledge of Flash memory integration and cryptographic accelerators or security IPs.
- Familiarity with EDA tools like Synopsys, Cadence, and common Analog IPs used in microcontroller designs.
- Soft Skills: Strong team player with excellent communication skills, comfortable in fast-paced environments.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microelectronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
