Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading all aspects of physical design from RTL to GDSII, including floor planning, power planning, and static timing analysis.
- Optimizing design methodologies and flows to enhance efficiency and design quality.
- Collaborating with design, architecture, and verification teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Mentoring junior and mid-level engineers.
- Integrating new EDA tools and technologies into the design process.
- Implementing low-power design techniques to meet power budgets.
- Generating reports and documentation throughout the design cycle.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications include:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of extensive experience in ASIC physical design.
- Deep expertise in EDA tools such as Cadence Innovus and Synopsys tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Tcl, Perl, Python).
- Strong understanding of static timing analysis and low-power design techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
