Role Summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Senior Principal Ethernet System Architect to join the global Automotive Networking team. The role requires industry-leading Ethernet expertise and a collaborative approach to innovate in automotive connectivity.

Experience Level

Senior level; minimum of 15 years' experience in systems engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Driving customer engagement to define the next generation of automotive connectivity architectures using Ethernet.
  • Leading the definition of next-generation Automotive Ethernet products.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver these next-generation products.
  • Contributing to Analog Devices' broader connectivity strategy.
  • Engaging with automotive industry working groups to influence new and existing connectivity technologies.
  • Representing ADI on industry standards and at automotive Ethernet events.
  • Enhancing and growing ADI’s Automotive Ethernet ecosystem.
  • Solving customer problems using Analog Devices’ broad portfolio of automotive connectivity solutions.

Requirements

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in systems engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in Automotive Ethernet Connectivity and Networking.
  • Extensive experience engaging with industry working groups.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with effective teamwork and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Automotive Tier1 or OEM experience in Ethernet connectivity and Networking is highly desirable.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
