Role Overview

The Senior Principal Engineer for Design for Test (DFT) will lead DFT initiatives within the local team in Vietnam as well as collaborate with global teams. The role focuses on overseeing DFT solutions for custom ASICs designed for Data Centers, ensuring efficient test solution architecture, implementation, and validation.

Position Summary

This position is integral to the DCE-CCS-Hardware DFT group, handling responsibilities from initial architecture through implementation to post-tape-out validation. You will act as a key technical advisor to project teams and lead improvements in DFT methodologies.

Experience Level

Candidates should possess a robust background with at least 15 years of experience in DFT engineering, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or architectural planning role within the ASIC domain.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Principal Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading DFT design initiatives for custom ASIC projects.
  • Acting as the primary technical advisor for the Vietnam project teams on DFT solutions.
  • Driving DFT methodology enhancements to meet evolving requirements.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams for successful project execution.

Mandatory Qualifications

The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 15+ years in DFT engineering, with significant hands-on experience in DFT processes from design to silicon integration.
  • Proficient in the latest Tessent features including Scan/Compression/ATPG, Memory BIST/Repair, and DC/AC BSCAN.
  • Track record of mentoring team members in complex DFT projects.
  • Strong cross-functional project execution experience (DFT2FE, DFT2PD, DFT2TE).
  • Excellent English proficiency for professional communication.
