Senior Post Silicon Validation Engineer

Role Summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Post Silicon Validation Engineer to work on the implementation of SoCs, GPUs, and ASICs. This position involves contributing to various product lines including consumer graphics, self-driving cars, and artificial intelligence technologies. The role is situated in Santa Clara, California.

Experience Level

This position requires a minimum of 12 years of relevant industry experience, focusing on electrical validation of high-power and high-speed complex SoCs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, automation, and validation of System Level Tests (SLT) for High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
• Develop and integrate test flows, scripts, and automate processes for thorough SLT coverage.
• Collaborate with architecture, design, and validation teams to implement production-ready SLT solutions.
• Drive development of custom SLTs aimed at optimizing performance and test coverage.
• Oversee the selection and integration of handlers, including PCB design and temperature control systems.
• Enhance manufacturing test quality across NPI, HVM, and RMA processes.
• Support silicon qualification and reliability testing at the system level.

Requirements

Candidates must possess an MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience). Proficiency in silicon validation, particularly in SerDes, LSIO, Logic, and Memory, is crucial. Candidates should be adept with lab equipment for high-speed testing and software programming in Python for test scripting.

Education Requirements

MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
