Role Summary

We are seeking experienced SoC performance engineers to push the boundaries of system performance on Arm IP. This role involves collaborating with a team of architects and performance engineers to shape high-performance interconnect IP for various markets.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Collaborating with micro-architects, RTL, and validation engineers to develop cycle-accurate timing and performance models for interconnects.
  • Driving new feature development and assessing architectural trade-offs on system-level performance.
  • Building well-correlated performance models for internal analysis and customer evaluations.
  • Partnering with internal teams and customers to deliver required collateral and insights for optimal system performance.
  • Designing performance test suites, identifying bottlenecks, validating expectations, and proposing solutions.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 3+ years of experience in SoC performance modeling or RTL experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • A proven track record in developing cycle-accurate performance models.
  • Strong C++ skills and experience in SystemC TLM and Python scripting.
