Senior PDK Engineer

Role Summary

NVIDIA seeks a PDK Engineer to join the Advanced Technologies Group, focusing on PDK development aligned with foundry partners. The role involves managing PDK versions and resolving PDK-related issues while supporting design and tapeout activities.

Experience Level

Candidates should have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 10 years of experience or an M.S. with 7 years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Align PDK development schedules with foundries.
• Download PDK and perform incoming checks.
• Manage PDK versions between foundry and NVIDIA design/tapeout teams.
• Serve as the primary communication channel for PDK issues and requests.
• Collaborate with CAD tool vendors on bug resolution and feature enablement.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a strong understanding of PDK structure and development processes, basic fabrication processes, and VLSI design. Experience with DRC/LVS, HSPICE, RC extraction, and EM analysis is desirable.
