Senior Nanofabrication Engineer - Quantum

Role Overview

This position involves working with a diverse team focused on advancing quantum computing technology through the development of scalable systems. You will be a key player in the nanofabrication efforts aimed at manufacturing nanoscale components for the Microsoft Quantum program based in Copenhagen.

Key Responsibilities

Your main duties will include:

• Development and maintenance of nano fabrication process blocks.
• Manufacturing and delivery of nanoscale components.
• Providing technical guidance to engineers and technicians.
• Analyzing data to drive continuous improvements in processes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on process and design innovation.
• Implementing and documenting safety standards and practices.

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

• PhD or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in clean room operations and fabrication processes.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor micro- and nanofabrication technologies.
• Effective problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Education Requirements

A doctoral or master’s degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline is required for this position.
