Senior Memory Controller Verification Engineer

Role Summary

NVIDIA is seeking a motivated Senior Verification Engineer for our Tegra SoC Memory Subsystem IP verification team. The team focuses on collaborating with design and architecture teams to implement verification strategies, maintain regressions, and ensure both functional correctness and performance metrics.

Experience Level

Senior level, with 3+ years of ASIC verification experience preferred.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include:

• Developing verification infrastructure including testbenches, BFMs, checkers, and monitors.
• Review and drive test plan execution for planned features.
• Understanding performance requirements and driving performance test plans.
• Ensuring code and functional coverage for the RTL being verified.
• Collaborating with FPGA and software teams for comprehensive testing.
• Participating in post-silicon verification and debugging processes.

Requirements

Required qualifications include:

• BS / MS or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in ASIC verification of complex designs.
• Experience with design and verification tools like VCS or equivalent, along with debugging tools like Debussy, GDB.
• Proficiency in System Verilog and UVM methodology for ASIC verification.

Additional skills that are preferred:

• Strong C/C++ programming experience.
• Experience with dynamic memory controllers (DDR variants).
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Scripting with Python, Perl, or shell.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit.

Education Requirements

BS / MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
