Role Summary

Develop and maintain software components for Siemens EDA tools within a Research & Development team based in Noida (hybrid). The role focuses on designing and implementing C/C++ software, algorithms and data structures to support electronic design automation workflows.

Work involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand complex product requirements, improve performance and deliver reliable solutions.

Experience Level

Mid-level. The posting specifies approximately 2–4 years of software development experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Design, implement and maintain C/C++ software components for EDA tools.
• Develop and optimize algorithms and data structures to meet product requirements.
• Implement and improve graph-related data models and algorithms where applicable.
• Analyze and decompose complex product problems into implementable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with product teams, QA and stakeholders to deliver high-quality releases.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed components.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred qualifications:

• Must-have: 2–4 years of professional software development experience; strong proficiency in C/C++, common design patterns, and core data structures & algorithms.
• Must-have: Ability to understand and work with complex products and system-level requirements.
• Must-have: Self-motivated, disciplined, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Nice-to-have: Prior experience in EDA or related domains.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with graph algorithms and graph data structures.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science or a closely related technical field. The posting prefers graduates from reputed engineering colleges.
