Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer
Role Summary
Support board-level GPU and data center product manufacturing in Hsinchu. Work with cross-functional teams and contract manufacturers to define test methodology, validate designs, develop and automate test infrastructure, and enable mass production ramp.
Focus on test infrastructure, manufacturability, debugging, and capacity ramp for multiple contract manufacturing sites.
Experience Level
Mid-level β requires 5+ years of experience in manufacturing test and test infrastructure development.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include designing and maintaining test processes, supporting ramp and production, and resolving board-level test issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams and contract manufacturers to implement test infrastructure and manufacturing flows.
- Plan and execute test capacity ramp-up across multiple CM sites.
- Design, develop, and implement cost-effective test methods and troubleshooting procedures for board-level products.
- Diagnose and analyze test failures with hardware, software, and operations teams; provide feedback on debug tools.
- Support NPI and mass-production test setups, diagnostics packages, and documentation.
- Automate product definitions, data collection, test execution, and results analysis.

Must-have:
- 5+ years' experience in manufacturing test and test infrastructure development.
- Experience with board-level GPU, DPU, or data center platforms and production test flows.
- Deep knowledge of low-level software drivers and kernel-level debugging.
- Ability to debug at board and system level and use probing hardware.
- Strong communication and organizational skills in English; able to work with local and overseas teams.
- Self-motivated and able to drive projects with minimal supervision.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of board and data center manufacturing processes and system testing.
- Experience with x86 assembly, PC architecture, and power management.
- Familiarity with Shell, Java, Perl, Python, and multiple OSes (Windows, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Experience in test solution development, failure analysis, and running system-level diagnostics.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree (BS or MS) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automatic Control, Systems Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
