Role Summary

Lead the Module Product Engineering function for advanced power modules from NPI through high-volume production and sustaining. Manage a team of product engineers and embedded PE leads to ensure product readiness, manufacturability, qualification, yield, and sustaining execution across internal and OSAT manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities

Accountable for delivering scalable module execution, product quality, and production readiness across cross-functional teams.

• Lead module PE from NPI to high-volume production and sustaining, including qualification and release readiness.
• Hire, develop, and manage product engineers and embedded PE leads; own workforce planning and performance management.
• Define and maintain standards for manufacturability, characterization, qualification execution, yield analysis, and change management.
• Establish governance for module-level decisions affecting quality, cost, yield, capacity, and customer commitments.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Design, Test, Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Applications, and Product Management.
• Ensure manufacturability and workmanship standards across OSAT and internal sites (assembly, die/clip attach, solder integrity, defect prevention).
• Lead executive escalation and decision-making for major yield excursions, qualification issues, production holds, and corrective actions.
• Translate product delivery needs into staffing, tooling, data, and process requirements for platform and functional organizations.
• Use data to improve cost, yield, cycle time, traceability, and production robustness; represent module PE in leadership and customer forums.

Requirements

Must-have technical and leadership qualifications.

• 10+ years in semiconductor product, manufacturing, test, quality, or related engineering roles.
• 5+ years managing engineers or technical teams with demonstrated ability to lead technical leaders and multiple workstreams.
• Deep experience with semiconductor power products and advanced power modules, including module assembly, qualification, high-volume manufacturing, yield, and sustaining.
• Proven ability to define operating objectives, processes, governance, and execution metrics for a technical organization.
• Strong data analysis and statistical decision-making skills related to product risk and manufacturing capability.
• Demonstrated cross-functional execution and ability to influence across multiple functional areas and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills for status, risk, and decision presentations.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or business discipline preferred.
