Senior Manager, Design Development Technical Leadership (HBM)
Role Summary
Lead the technical program execution for High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) build programs within Micron’s Heterogeneous Integration Group. Coordinate cross-functional teams across design, product, manufacturing and external partners to manage dependencies, risks, schedules, and delivery quality.
Experience Level
Senior — requires significant leadership experience. The role expects 10+ years of relevant semiconductor industry experience.
Responsibilities
Own single-threaded technical program leadership for HBM build programs and ensure alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead end-to-end execution across DRAM, base die, test vehicles, interposers, IP, and sustaining development.
- Drive multi-functional alignment, manage technical dependencies and risks, and maintain execution plans to meet schedule, cost, and quality targets.
- Lead governance activities: design reviews, program reviews, risk management, and change control.
- Partner with foundries, IP vendors, contractors, and procurement to resolve execution challenges.
- Own roadmap communication, executive reporting, and collaborator alignment for HBM build programs.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience are listed first; preferred items are noted separately.

Must-have: 10+ years of relevant semiconductor industry experience.
- Strong understanding of custom and digital design flows and the full SoC or DRAM development lifecycle.
- Proven experience leading large, cross-functional technical programs through influence, collaboration, and execution rigor.
- Experience working with foundries, IP vendors, and external ecosystem partners.
- Experience managing governance activities such as design reviews, risk management, and change control.
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of DRAM architecture and HBM product family.
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance such as JEDEC.
- Experience managing program budgets, IP investments, mask planning, and cost forecasting.
- Experience with formal program/project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience using Agentic AI tools to assist with design and verification.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
