Senior Manager / Deputy Director, IP Engineering
Role Summary
Lead or co-lead development of high-performance compute processor IP products for the IP Engineering team in Hsinchu. Provide technical leadership across product development, customer engagements, and strategic initiatives, ensuring delivery quality and cross-site collaboration.
Experience Level
Senior β 15+ years of experience in digital front-end design, RTL implementation, verification, or computational IP development with significant technical leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Accountable for technical strategy, delivery, and team leadership for large-scale IP projects.
- Drive execution and take end-to-end ownership or co-ownership of large IP development projects.
- Define technical strategies; review architectures, microarchitecture, RTL, and specifications.
- Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams; plan succession and improve organizational effectiveness.
- Improve engineering processes, methodologies, verification flows, and signoff practices.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance in architecture, RTL design, verification, and product delivery.
- Coordinate with global teams on roadmaps, project planning, customer engagements, and cross-site execution.
- Manage program execution, resource planning, risk mitigation, and delivery commitments.
Requirements

- 15+ years of experience in digital front-end design, RTL implementation, verification, validation, or computational IP development with significant technical leadership.
- Proven record leading large-scale IP/SoC projects with responsibility for quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Experience leading distributed, multi-site engineering teams and collaborating across global organizations.
- Strong expertise in microprocessor, memory, and system architecture; hands-on RTL and microarchitecture experience.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog, Verilog, UVM, C/C++, Python, Perl, and scripting for automation.
- Familiarity with EDA tool flows: simulation, synthesis, linting, formal verification, coverage, and automation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders.

Education Requirements
