The role spans architecture, design, silicon bring-up, validation, and production readiness, and requires cross-organizational collaboration to meet product roadmaps.

This is an on-site role based in Phoenix, AZ, responsible for technical strategy, program execution, and building a high-performing engineering organization.

Experience Level

Senior-level β€” the role requires significant experience (minimums in the posting indicate 9+ years of engineering experience and 6+ years in leadership or management roles).

Responsibilities

Accountable for technical leadership, program delivery, team growth, and cross-functional coordination for analog and mixed-signal IP projects.

  • Lead development and delivery of analog/mixed-signal IP (e.g., ADCs, DACs, phase interpolators, voltage regulators, clocking circuits) and high-speed I/O building blocks.
  • Drive technical excellence across architecture, design execution, verification, silicon bring-up, validation, and production readiness.
  • Set technical direction and align priorities with product roadmaps in partnership with senior technical leaders.
  • Promote engineering innovation through automation, process optimization, and AI-assisted methodologies.
  • Develop execution strategies, project plans, and manage schedules, resources, risks, dependencies, and deliverables for multiple concurrent efforts.
  • Use data-driven reporting to communicate progress and support decision-making.
  • Build, recruit, coach, mentor, and retain a high-performing analog and mixed-signal engineering team.
  • Foster an inclusive culture that supports collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with architecture, design, validation, physical design, layout, product engineering, manufacturing, and program management teams, including global partners.
  • Influence strategic technical and organizational decisions that impact future connectivity and compute product families.

  • Must-have: 8+ years delivering analog or mixed-signal IP from concept through silicon validation and product deployment.
  • Must-have: 7+ years working with analog design fundamentals (noise, jitter, matching, stability, linearity, performance optimization).
  • Must-have: 7+ years of silicon bring-up, post-silicon validation, and lab debug of analog circuits.
  • Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience managing analog IP design teams and driving execution in silicon programs.
  • Nice-to-have: Domain experience in PLL, CDR, CTLE, DFE, ADC, TX/RX design.
  • Nice-to-have: Knowledge of high-speed serial I/O technologies (PCIe, CXL, USB Type-C) and die-to-die technologies (UCIe).

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, with 9+ years of experience. Preferred: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (posting lists a masters with 6+ years as preferred).
