Role Summary

Lead and manage a team of analog IC designers responsible for analog and power integrated-circuit blocks from specification through tape-out and production release. Serve as the technical lead on projects and coordinate cross-functional work with layout, verification, test, product and applications teams.

Responsibilities

Deliver and oversee analog and power IC designs, ensure on-time tape-out, and provide technical guidance across projects.

• Manage day-to-day activities and resource planning for the design team to meet project milestones and tape-out schedules.
• Act as technical project lead and provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers.
• Perform hands-on block-level analog/power design from specification to clean database.
• Run block-level and top-level mixed-signal simulations to meet datasheet parameters.
• Interface with layout, verification, test, product and application engineering to drive product release and ramp to production.
• Conduct lab evaluation and support for circuit blocks and whole ICs; support test development.
• Instigate and participate in peer design reviews and cross-functional technical discussions.
• Guide block layout for high-speed performance and precision operation and analyze process options for target applications.
• Define and drive specification requirements for chips and visit customers to understand system-level requirements.

Requirements

Strong hands-on analog/power IC design and management experience; effective cross-functional communication and project leadership.

• Must-have: Proven experience managing and leading an analog IC design team and driving projects to tape-out and production.
• Must-have: Hands-on analog and power block-level design experience (specification → implementation → clean database).
• Must-have: Design experience with several of the following: ADCs (SAR/Sigma-Delta), precision amplifiers, bandgap references, switching regulators, LDOs, DACs, and system-level simulation.
• Must-have: CMOS/BiCMOS design experience.
• Must-have: Strong written and verbal cross-functional communication skills.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with small-geometry BCD processes.
• Nice-to-have: Advanced knowledge of mixed-signal Cadence tools and parasitic-extraction.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required; Master of Science in Electrical Engineering preferred. The posting allows equivalent technical or practical experience and specifies 14+ years of professional industry experience in analog design engineering.
