Senior Lead Verification Engineer

Role Overview

The Infinity Fabric transport layer verification team at Advanced Micro Devices Inc is seeking an experienced pre-silicon verification engineer. This individual will play a critical role in verifying our configurable switches and die-to-die interconnect, serving across a range of AMD products including Client, Server, Graphics, and Semi-Custom markets.

Function Summary

This role requires collaboration with design and verification colleagues to create and implement effective test plans. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working at the IP and SoC levels using System Verilog/UVM or similar technologies.

Experience Level

The position demands a seasoned professional with at least 15 years of experience in ASIC verification, especially in IP or Sub-system level design verification.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize System Verilog/UVM-based testbenches to verify new features across various interconnect domains.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, performance engineers, and post-silicon validation experts to deepen knowledge of the Infinity Fabric architecture.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and enhance the overall verification framework.

Desired Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate expertise in architecting and developing complex verification environments, familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl or Ruby, and an understanding of RTL design and formal verification.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering is required for this position.
