Senior Layout Designer

Role Summary

The Senior Layout Designer will join the Milan-based team within the Power Solution Group. This role focuses on automotive power design projects including Display, Lighting, and HV Power applications.

Experience Level

Senior, with at least 4 years of relevant experience in layout design.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include:

• Designing analog/mixed-signal layouts to meet project performance and quality standards.
• Collaborating with design engineers to optimize circuit performance.
• Leading the development of macro-blocks and top-level layouts.
• Mentoring new colleagues and improving layout methodologies.
• Troubleshooting issues and advancing development initiatives within the team.

Requirements

Required skills and qualifications include:

• Strong knowledge of semiconductor physics and advanced layout techniques.
• Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso Suite and Calibre verification tools.
• Familiarity with best-known layout practices.
• Experience in managing complex projects and leading teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
