Senior IP Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Senior verification engineer on a front-end multi-media IP team responsible for planning and executing IP verification to achieve first-pass silicon success. The role works closely with IP architects, ASIC design engineers, and integration teams to define verification scope and deliver robust verification infrastructure.

Senior-level; typically requires 5+ years of design verification experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include designing and running verification plans, building verification infrastructure, and ensuring IP integrates correctly into chip-level environments.
- Drive verification of multi-media IP with emphasis on first-pass success.
- Collaborate with ASIC design engineers, IP architects, and other verification engineers to formalize features and requirements.
- Verify IP using SystemVerilog and UVM; build and maintain testbenches.
- Automate unit-level, trace-based testing against reference C models.
- Architect verification environments and produce verification documentation.
- Develop simulation models and manage regressions across HLS, Verilog, and FPGA simulations.
- Perform performance testing, analysis, and functional/code coverage tracking to closure.
- Advance verification techniques and support IP integration into full-chip flows.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience for successful performance in this role.
- Must-have: 5+ years of proven design verification experience.
- Must-have: Expertise verifying complex IP using SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Must-have: Programming/scripting experience with C and Python.
- Must-have: Strong written, verbal, and technical communication skills.
- Must-have: Demonstrated ability to apply creative problem-solving to difficult technical problems.
- Nice-to-have: Experience verifying High-Level-Synthesis (HLS) designs.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with AI-enabled IDEs for code development.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with regression management, FPGA simulation flows, and performance analysis.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
