Senior IP Design Verification Engineer - XBAR IP
Role Summary
Senior verification engineer responsible for verifying ASIC memory subsystem IP and related interconnects for NVIDIA GPUs and SoCs. Work on verification scope, infrastructure and closure for complex IPs and sub-systems within a cross-functional engineering team.
Experience Level
Senior level — typically requires 4+ years of relevant verification experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include planning and executing verification for memory subsystem IP and ensuring correctness through coverage-driven methodologies.
- Define verification scope and develop verification plans for complex IPs/sub-systems.
- Design and implement verification infrastructure, testbenches, and reusable components (BFMs, monitors, checkers, scoreboards).
- Develop directed and randomized tests with functional coverage and assertions to achieve closure.
- Apply advanced methodologies such as SystemVerilog/UVM for verification development.
- Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and pre-/post-silicon teams to debug and close issues.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- 4+ years of relevant ASIC/IP verification experience.
- Experience verifying complex IPs, units, or sub-systems.
- Experience with random stimulus, functional coverage-driven verification, and assertion-based verification.
- Expertise in Verilog.
- Knowledge of SystemVerilog and verification methodologies such as UVM or VMM.
- Debugging and scripting skills to analyze failures and automate verification tasks.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Education Requirements
B.Tech. / M.Tech. or equivalent practical experience.
