Senior IP Design Verification Engineer - XBAR IP

Role Summary

Responsible for verifying the design and implementation of memory subsystem IP for NVIDIA GPUs and SoCs. The role focuses on defining verification scope, building verification infrastructure, developing tests, and driving functional-coverage closure.

Work on a global engineering team that partners with architects, designers, and pre/post-silicon teams to ensure IP correctness and readiness for integration.

Experience Level

Senior — the posting requests 4+ years of relevant verification experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Define verification scope for complex memory sub-systems and IP.
• Develop verification infrastructure, test plans, and testcases.
• Build reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards.
• Apply coverage-driven verification methodologies and drive closure.
• Use SystemVerilog/UVM and related HVLs to implement verification environments.
• Use assertion-based verification and random stimulus techniques.
• Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and pre/post-silicon verification teams to debug and resolve issues.

Requirements

Must-have:

• 4+ years of experience in verification of complex IPs, units, or sub-systems.
• Experience with random-stimulus verification, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification.
• Proficiency in Verilog.
• Practical knowledge of SystemVerilog and verification methodologies such as UVM or VMM.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience verifying memory subsystems or network interconnect IP.
• Scripting skills to support verification and debug flows.

Education Requirements

B.Tech. or M.Tech., or equivalent practical experience. No specific field of study was specified in the posting.
