Role Summary

This role involves focusing on hardware execution related to machine learning, blending hardware design and software compiler expertise to optimize performance on FPGA technology. As a part of the FPGA AI Suite team, the developer will contribute to architectural exploration and trade-off evaluations for ML inference IP.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Design and development of hardware and software for ML inference on FPGAs.
  • Architectural evaluation and optimization of data flows and memory structures.
  • Hands-on work with soft IP, hardware pipelines, and FPGA toolflows.
  • Collaboration with a high-impact team to map ML workloads efficiently onto programmable logic.
  • Defend design decisions and contribute to the next generation of ML inference IP.

Requirements

Candidates must possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in synthesizable RTL, software development, and ML inference.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware architectures and ML inference acceleration.
  • Experience with FPGAs and development of soft IP is ideal.

Education Requirements

Expected to have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
