Senior Hardware Security Architect, GPU
Role Summary
Architect, design, and validate hardware security for NVIDIA's GPU products. Work with the GPU hardware security team to identify and mitigate hardware and firmware threats, develop verification tests and security analysis tools, and support secure scaling of GPUs in data-center environments.

Senior. The posting requests 3β5 years of relevant hardware development experience focused on hardware security.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with GPU HW Security architects to ensure secure designs from architecture through implementation.
- Develop analysis tools and scripts to identify and document vulnerabilities in current and upcoming designs.
- Create and run tests on GPU architectural models to verify security features.
- Perform security reviews of firmware and hardware designs and assist teams with remediation.
- Define architectural and micro-architectural details for features that improve GPU security.
- Assist implementation and verification of hardware security features.
Requirements
Key required and preferred skills:
- 3β5 years of hardware development experience with a focus on hardware security (required).
- Proficient in C/C++ and experienced with low-level firmware development (required).
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to work effectively in product-oriented teams (required).
- Scripting experience with Perl and Python on Linux (preferred).
- Experience with security testing techniques (threat modeling, fuzzing, negative testing) and familiarity with kernel-level security concepts (preferred).
- Interest or experience in micro-architectural attacks (side channels, fault injection) and hardware cryptography topics such as secure boot and key management (preferred).
Education Requirements
Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Base salary ranges (USD, yearly): Level 3 $152,000β$241,500; Level 4 $184,000β$287,500.
